Possible issues with download module...

I got rid of the error from the download manager, found the thread about and updated the files suggested in there.  Maybe this is how it's suppose to work now, but I don't seem to have any icon or menu item in tpadmin to manage the downloads. See the first attached file. I can go there direct via the link ?action=tpmod;dl=admin or the dropdown menu. But there is a little formatting problem... See the second attachment. Everything is moved to the right.. like it is expecting left-hand menu..

Ok, well never mind on the second part about the formatting.. got that fixed.. duh...  settings... 

But it seems to look like a different theme...

In the download settings you can set the download manager to use a different theme. Check that out.

For the downloads icon showing, make sure download manager is active in module settings. I recall there being a bug that if shoutbox was disabled, but I believe that was fixed in TP1.0. If not, it should be fixed in the latest code for sure.

Ahh yes, again you beat me to the reply, I found the theme setting....

I know the version I have is a little older.  The file was 1.zip and I see now you have it has 1_0.zip..  Would it be a good idea to just install that package?  The icon looks like it is in the image directory..

You could uninstall and reinstall if you'd like. I tried to sneak a couple of quick fixes in right after the release. So there are a handful of people that have the first zip. There were no database changes, so if you wanted you could just upload the Sources/ and Theme/ files from the package for your version of SMF.

Ok, I first just copied the files into Source and Themes/default. Still had to turn on shoutbox to see the menu/icon for download.  I then removed and re-installed TP.  Same thing... have to have shoutbox enabled to get menu/icon for download in tpadmin...

Ok, may have other issues... where are the files that are uploaded stored?  Says I am downloading them but end up being zero bites...

Never mind, found it and seems they didn't get copied over during the clone...  Hmmmmm  So that issue is a non-issue.

Must be something I fixed after the fact. There are too many things that have changed in the latest set of files to give you the update. You'll just have to hold off until the next release.

Not a problem. I can just keep the shoutbox enabled without creating a spot for it.. Should not cause a problem??
