Missing TP admin section

Hello,

Running smf 1.1.16 and TP 0.9.8 and for some reason, I think it was due to my messing with stuff, I am now missing the TP admin section and my backup isn't fixing the issue.

Where, or how, do I get this back?

FYI, TP is installed because I see the footer on the index page as well as in the database and in the installed packages section. However, I cannot uninstall because it's telling me that there is no uninstaller so what do I do?

There's no uninstaller because TP 0.9.8 was never updated for the newer versions of SMF 1.1.x. There are instructions posted throughout the boards where people have asked the same question if you'd like to try to fix that. Otherwise you'll need to restore your SMF to a default install by uploading the SMF files from the large upgrade package of your version of SMF.  That will bring your forum back to a state where no mods are installed.
