Hi! I've a little question, maybe you already talked about it but I can't find a related topic.

There is a way to use default theme icons (collapse, expand, edit, etc) instead of tinyportal ones?
They looks ugly when another then default theme is used and I like to allow my users to change it.

Freddy

Just overwrite the ones you don't like with ones you do like.

Uhm... This way I still have the same icons for all themes.

Oh I see, hmm, so you want different TP icons for different themes ?  Not sure about that, hopefully someone else will have a better idea :)

OK, this is not too difficult.  Normally, the TP icons are located in this folder on your site ...
YourSite/Themes/default/images/tinyportal/VariousImages

If you want to use different icons for different themes, all you need to do is to make sure that you have the following folders in the folder for your custom theme ...
YourSite/Themes/YourCustomTheme/images/tinyportal/

So, now, if you want to use a different TPcollapse.gif in your custom theme, upload the TPcollapse.gif you have created to that folder in the Custom theme and the theme will use the new image you have made.

For instance, this is the default image ...
YourSite/Themes/default/images/tinyportal/TPcollapse.gif

... and this would be the custom image you created ...
YourSite/Themes/YourCustomTheme/images/tinyportal/TPcollapse.gif

So, if I make a folder named: ""YourSite/Themes/YourCustomTheme/images/tinyportal/"" where i put all the default images with TP names (adding TP prefix or renaming) it should work for every image, right?

If you have the tinyportal directory in your images folder it should pick it up as long as you have all the same names for the files that are in the default/images/tinyportal folder. Not exactly sure if that is what you are saying. You just need to copy the folder over to your custom theme and replace the images with your custom images.

It's exactly what I want, a "dynamic" change of icons with theme.

I copied the folder and updated my images, but tinyportall still loads images from default theme directory.

Has your browser cached the images? Have you tried clearing your cache to see if it fixes itself?
