I appreciate what you did Maxx. , as always. O0 However, I read through the last 5 or 6 pages of the Adk blog topic on the SMF site and it's pretty obvious that all the problems that everyone is having with that Mod has started since the Mod was upgraded to the latest version, 3.0.  Several posts even mentioned that version 2.0 worked fine but it no longer seems to be available on SMF.  There were posts in there from EZPortal users, SimplePortal users, and others, and it seems like there are other problems with the Mod besides just installation problems.  I even, just this morning, registered at SMF Personal to see if I could get some answers but no luck with that.  If you can figure out how to get it to work for Kike_GL, then I applaud you.

Yes that's my thoughts also... the mod apparently has issue, so what can we do..LOL except research as we have.

So I'm real done with it. I will keep it around, because even though the mod may have bugs, it looks like has good possibles in the future... I kinda like it. Will see what they come up with as fix?

BUT I like you do not think TP needs any change for this mod!

Maxx
But Mama, That's Where all the fun is!

In a clean SMF 2.0.2 install (without TP) the Adk Blog MOD worked well for me.

The same question I put in the help forum Adk Blog and they also work on the problem.

Conflicts are always in pairs and applying from the first message is to help minimize conflict and that both MOD work together.

Easily position is also removed TP and used Adk Portal, but that's not the point. I like TP.

Thank you very much to those who tried to help me.

Since TP already modifies the same code that ADKBlog does, it can't install automatically, only manually,

Looking quickly at it seems ADKblog wants to start whenever there's a "blog" entered in the url..kind of similar to what TP does with checking for "page". It should still be able to do that within TP too, but the code have to look a bit different than either of the mods default install instructions.The key is where ADKBlog adds a check to make it work towards ADKPortal - TP will need the same.

I am grateful for the valuable comments of each of you.

I have already partially running Adk Blog + TP. The key was discovered by a comparative analysis of Adk Portal + Blog  vs  TP + Blog.

The solution in case someone else was interested to add the following code in the above conditions to run the BlogFeatures.php

&& !isset($_REQUEST['blog'])

Now I just have the defect that when you open a topic of the Blog does not make a new window as Adk Portal, but joins the TP by displaying all panels (left, right, top, etc) around.

If you place the line "tp_hidebars('all');" inside BlogFeatures.php, you will not see any TP bars, and get a "clean" page.

Kike_GL

That's a great solution for me, thank you very much.

I apply this code in BlogFeatures.php:

//Hide some TP panels
tp_hidebars('right');
tp_hidebars('center');
