Link to my site: www.analyticgaming dot org
SMF version: 2.0.2
TP version: I dont know where to find this :(
Default Forum Language: English
Theme name and version: Inferno 2.0
Browser Name and Version: Internet Expolorer 9

Ok so if you visit the link to my site, you can see that on the home page and forums, there is a slight alignment difference between the left/right blocks and the middle panel.

I could just create an empty block and move it to the center, but this looks rather poor.
Also, I've looked around at a few other posts and it seems that this is caused due to the linktree?  Where should I go to modify either the CSS or PHP file?

Essentially, all I would like is for my blocks and center content to line up correctly.

This little issue can be corrected by changing this CSS code snip in the TP content header of the TPStyle.css

<div id="tpcontentHeader">
<div id="tpfrontpanel_top" style="margin: 0 0 4px 0; padding: 0;"></div>

where is says 4px, you'll need to change to 0, this will bring it right up in place.( TPStyle.css)

Note I'm not saying it's a bug in the TP, but this will do the trick, if you need help please let someone know.

Not all theme are done the same way.
and That looks like a great use for the DZ inferno Theme... looking good!

If you want lighten up the Text color on that bar Please let me know!

Edit more detailed information

Check make sure you have the latest TP Version first!

OK in your TPStyle.css

it will look something like this:
#tptopbarHeader,
#tpbottombarHeader,
#tpleftbarHeader,
#tprightbarHeader,
#tplowerbarHeader,
#tpcenterbarHeader,
#tpcontentHeader,
#tpfrontpanel_top
{
padding-bottom: 0;
}

Now if you edit this style and, you do not want to change the TP main system style, you can just up load this modified TPStyle.css to the Inferno's main folder, where it's index.template.php is and it should work, with changing any other themes!

hope this helps!,

Thanks for the quick response.  However, I am still pretty much in the dark about a few things..

1) as I mentioned, I have no idea where the TP version is listed or reported.  I am helping a friend with this site and was did not do the installation.. The SMF version information is readily available, but TP version info?

2) You also mentioned changing two bits of code.  What files contain this code?

Latest version of TP is TinyPortal 1.0  internal version number is TinyPortal 1.107 =  TinyPortal 1.0

You can check the internal version by going to Admin > Package manager, and veiw the version of TP you have installed there.

Thank you Mick for the follow up! :)

wow. I guess I have bigger problems then.  Tinyportal doesn't show as one of the installed packages.  Even though it is very much so installed... Anyone familiar with this sort of problem?

I think you may have to PM one of us a temp admin access to check this out for you!

You can check the internal version by going to Admin > Package manager, and veiw the version of TP you have installed there.

Newer versions of TinyPortal have a new feature which makes it easier to find out exactly what version you have so that you can let us know when asking for support.  If you scroll to the bottom of your site where the TinyPortal copyright is located, you'll see something like this ...
TinyPortal © 2005-2012

On your site, it says "TinyPortal © 2005-2011".  If you click the date part, "2005-2011", another page will come up that will tell you the public version that you are using.  Sogfrog, by doing this, you can see that you are using "TinyPortal 1.0 RC2" so you are a few versions behind.

As for the Mod not being listed in your Package Manager, the likely cause for this is that someone has either deleted the backups from the Packages folder or, more likely, that someone has deleted the installed.list file from that folder.  This is usually not a good idea because it prevents you from uninstalling Mods.

Yes Jim, I think if he updates it may fix his issue, cause I don't see the 4px, in the newer version, and this also why I mentioned to check the version,. I also noticed the date on his site, but did not know what you just explained 4 certain, but now I do... thk you!

Just wanted to mention that he should not have problems installing and updating though!
But you are correct this is not the way to do things, by who ever removed it, if that's the case!
