Not too long ago I noticed that the RSS feed blocks I had on my frontpage no longer populate.  I've tested the feeds elsewhere and they work fine.  Below are some examples of the errors I'm seeing in the log.  I've been able to get the feeds working with the Feed2JS code generator but I'd rather not have to use it.  Any ideas?

I'm betting your host has upgraded the php version on the server at some point.  Might be worth checking with them.

G6Cad

More like the host closed the options of streaming things to and from the server, it seems like it´s blocking the sourse ( f:open faild to open stream )

Hello astrod00d,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

G6Cad is correct.  Check with your host to find out if your server or your php.ini file sets the "Allow_url_fopen" And "Allow_url_include" PHP Directives to "OFF".  RSS Feeds will only work correctly if those are turned "ON".

I believed those were set to off by default after a php upgrade.  and as the feeds mysteriously stopped working.

Hence my reply above.  I stand corrected.  :uglystupid2:

ZarPrime

Yep, could very well be the reason. ;)

Thanks for the replies.  I'll check with the webhost and let you know if I'm successful.
