shoutbox entries question

When we shout in the box there...lol we are able to write and it all works great....would like to have the ability to use html (member use only on our site) but no worries about that HOWEVER, we have some that would love to be able to write a little bit more than allowed and not get the shout cut short thus needing another shout...lol

Is/ where do I find the spot to set the length of the post per person to increase the character length allowed?

Well it's not something you look for lol. If you need those features, you'll have to write the code in to get what you want. The TPShout.php file does ALL the work for the shoutbox. The TPShout.template.php file does all the display stuff for the shoutbox. If you want to add a feature in such as allowing other people to post HTML and longer shouts, you have to add code in to do such a thing.
