I had recently updated to TP 1.105
My RSS feed from G4TV was working frest until then.
Now all I can do is post headlines only because it has lost all formatting.
The body is all just words, even the links are just links and not pictures.

Actually I would like to post some of what you need to see but I can't post links, so you'll have to use your imaginagion.

Please let me know how I can fix this.

Links can be posted if you remove the http:// part. If you validate the RSS feed it must be a valid RSS document or TP may not parse the feed properly.

You can test your feed URL here:
http://validator.w3.org/feed/

You also have the option of using a 3rd party RSS feed script to control the script, and some actually clean the feeds up before they are parsed. Some options for this are here:

Maybe here too:

It's weird how it works fine on my one site running SMF 2.0 and TP 1.104 and the feed works great, see at xxxtremegamers.ca/pcgamer, where running SMF 2.0.2 and TP 1.105 and I get this or you can see it at laidbacksoldiers.com/TheBarracks

I tried the convert to java, but I have never been able to run java unless I ran it through as an article. This was the only way I was able to display Teamspeak on the xxx site.

gto3113,

Either the username or the password you PM'ed me is not correct.  It won't let me login.

gto3113,

Well, the feed seems to be working now and I didn't do anything.  Have you been working on it?  Did you only want the titles?

ZarPrime

gto3113

The feed always showed just the head lines.
It's when you take it off the headlines only that it shows as jibberish.
I'll set it to show all and you can see.

ZarPrime

What do you want to show, just the titles, or everything in the feed?

http://feeds.g4tv.com/g4tv/thefeed?type=4&priority=1&filter=&limit=5 is probably not a properly formed url for a feed reader to read properly.  Can I ask where you got this url for the feed?  Can you link me to the page you got this from?
