Hi, and welcome to TP support.

You could try this block code in a php block, and see if it still works,  Recent/Random Aeva media slideshow

Discussion thread for that block Here

angie

Thanks Lurkalot

have the php block in but its showing nothing
do I just paste the code into a php block ? as if so that hasnt worked

Im really not up on php

I would use the embed link in a bbc block but all the pictures I embed go down instead of like a grid patern as in 2 rows of 3
if could do that would be ideal

If you just pasted it in and turned it on it probably won't show anything.  You need to tell it what albums to grab the images from.  If you look part way down that code you should see,

$aeva_albums = array(16);            // for a single album put eg: array(10) for an array of albums eg: array(3,5,7) for all albums eg:array()

You'll notice above it is set to album (16) This you'll need to change this to what ever album numbers you want to display.

Brilliant thank you that worked

now  to make it a bit faster and scroll side to side rather than up

angie

ok I prefer it scrolling up but just need to make it slightly faster how do I do that am a bit lost

lurkalot

Glad it's working.  O0

The direction is controlled by this line, I think it's about eleven lines from the top of that code,

$marq_direction = "up";            // "left" , "right" , "up", "down"    It's set to up by default.

The speed I think is altered two lines further down, you'll have to play with this one, and see if you can get it to your liking,

$marq_scrolldelay = 10;            // delay iteritions

Thanks Lurkalot thats sorted it much happier with the front page now going to mark this solved
