Downloads section restriction

I am the owner of the Vintage Bike Forum which uses Joomla/SMF and TP.  I didn't craft the site but inherited its administrative function. I am not very good with computers and such.  We have a downloads sections and it works well.  My moderators have asked me if we could restrict access to the DOWNLOADS section to members who have 10 or more posts to eliminate people from joining the forum just to download stuff in our DOWNLOADS section. 

Is there a way to have permissions change to allow DOWNLOADS when 10 posts have been made?  I did do a search but wasn't really sure what to search on or for. Thanks in advance. wg

TinyPortal does not use any of the post count groups. It only restricts by member groups only.

In other words, no you can't restrict access by post count.
