Does this happen as Admin? Or does it happen when a user edits their own article?

Just found that this was a user edited article. Open Sources/TPmodules.php and find this on about line #581
'body' => html_entity_decode($row['body'], $context['character_set']),
'intro' => html_entity_decode($row['intro'], $context['character_set']),
'useintro' => $row['useintro'],
'category' => $row['category'],
'frontpage' => $row['frontpage'],
'subject' => html_entity_decode($row['subject'], $context['character_set']),

Replace with this:
'body' => html_entity_decode($row['body'], ENT_QUOTES, $context['character_set']),
'intro' => html_entity_decode($row['intro'], ENT_QUOTES, $context['character_set']),
'useintro' => $row['useintro'],
'category' => $row['category'],
'frontpage' => $row['frontpage'],
'subject' => html_entity_decode($row['subject'], ENT_QUOTES, $context['character_set']),

Hi IchBin,

I checked my tpmodules file and right code was already in it.
It happens both as admin and as user.

Can you give me a test account to test this on your site?

Ugh... sorry I put some bad type-o's in the SMF1 install for TP. I added the character_set to all the conversion functions, and mistyped a word. I then copy and pasted that same code all over the place. You'll need to upload all these files and replace the ones on your forum. Sorry for the bugs.

Hi Ichbin,

I uploaded the files in the zip and now it's working as it should.
Thank you very much!

Should I remove the DisableTemplateEval mod?

ZarPrime

wildenborch,

It's not necessary for you to remove that Mod.  It's a good one to have in case you ever have any errors that require you to disable template eval in the future to find out the true nature of the error.  Also, if and when you decide to upgrade to SMF 2.0, disable template eval is built in to that version of SMF because it is often useful to be able to do that.

Topic marked solved. O0

This also resolved my problem.

having checked these files against the rc2 i downloaded and installed this morning on my 1.1.14 forums, i note there are indeed differences. should i upload these files and replace those that were installed. i have over 200 error messages already, and some strangeness with membergroups perhaps related to this?

i suspect i have downloaded and installed a package that hasn't been updated this am (UK time) -- i think i downloaded it from the TP smf/mod site
some examples of the errors are.......
http://www.xxxxx.com/index.php
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: characer_set

and8: Undefined index: allow_admin

and i note for example my TPSubs.php file (line37) has return $context['TPortal']['allow_admin'];
rather than return $context['TPortal']['allow_admin'] = false; in the version you attached in this thread
