html showing in downloads area only

it came back and even after doing the manual editing the tags are still showing.

I have turned off html...tried to do with just bbc and it still shows the tags

i turn off editor and it won't even accept an image

but

another thing, with html allowed it won't take the image either when I click the little icon to insert the image

I ahve tried it so many ways now, editing the tpadmin and tpdownload files as instructed in the post i can't seem to find anymore...lol

and sometimes it will show perfectly in admin, but not on the downloads page and there is no way to increase font size or change color for the coding shows.

it had gone away before the update to 1.01 but came back...edited the files and it worked and now back again. so that now even with fresh files and fresh edits it still shows

Well absolutely nothing changed except for a few lines of code in the TPdlmanager.php file.  If you applied the same fixes, then either your file didn't get updated properly on your server, or something else is wrong. Not much I can do from this end sorry. However TP1 RC2 should hopefully be coming out this week, which should contain all those fixes.

ok i have triple checked the files and the coding is there but still not behaving so will wait or the next release...

Are you referring to the main description in downloads? Or the description of an actual download item? Please be specific about where you see these things. Giving links and pointing to things really helps too.

well let's see I meant the front page here:

never even thought to check the download area of items but there would not be much to show but the main section there has an image at the top and usually various links within the body that I have removed for now leaving only the code for the image.

Ah yes, I think that is fixed in the next release. Glad you can wait, as I really don't want to dig through and find my fixes. lol I'll double check to make sure it's fixed though. Thanks for reporting it!

LOL no problem I can surely wait but while you are checking remember the shout box had a similar problem with the backslash appearing before the apostrophe

See, it's a good thing I checked. lol I remember fixing this before. Apparently I never added it to my code repository though.
