Different spaces and sizes in new version of TP (RC 1.1) ?

After installing new version of TP, the RC 1.1, i have noticed different spaces and sizes on my theme. I try to explain it better through the attached screenshot.
Please have a look at the yellow arrows, even the small ones. How to fix it?

Is this the same theme that you used when your Forum was running with TinyPortal version 0.9.8?  Please look at your site with the SMF default theme (/index.php?theme=1) and see if you have the same issue.  Also, please look in your Forum error log after looking at the FrontPage and let us know whether there are any errors listed.

It works with default theme.

Yeah, well, chances are that the problem is with the theme.  That theme was a special purchase theme that Crip designed for the benefit of G6's son, who was going through some medical problems a while back.  If I am not mistaken, the theme was especially designed to work with TinyPortal version 0.9.8.  In other words, it required special edits so that it would work with that version of TP.  The spaces on the left and right side are there because of the theme.  TinyPortal no longer requires those special theme edits and, in fact, an older theme like this that has the edits will not work properly with the latest SMF and TinyPortal.

First, of all, once in a while, it's good to clear out your Forum error log and start over to see if those old errors you are getting are still happening.  This is especially important if you have a lot of unsolved errors so that you can get a fresh start.  Take a look at the following topic and see if the errors mentioned in that topic are some of the ones you are seeing.  Here's the topic --> http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=32374.0

If you are seeing the leftbar and rightbar errors mentioned, those errors would indicate that the theme is at fault.  It's not that the theme is bad, it's just that it won't work with the latest version of TinyPortal, only for TP 0.9.8.

If this is what the problem is, Crip may be able to help you with that if he's in a good mood.  The only way to find out would be to ask him on his site whether he can remove the TP 0.9.8 edits in the theme for you.  His site is here --> http://www.jpr62.com/theme/index.php?action=forum

NP.  It's a great theme but it is an old one.  Because it was a special theme that he did for G6, he may not want to upgrade it for SMF 2.0 but he may be able to help with removal of the TP 0.98 calls in it.  I'll go ahead and mark this topic solved.

I have upgraded SMF to 2.0 version and i have installed latest version of TP.
Please have a look again to my site, i have this error:

I think it's caused by 3 modules that call 3 (same) functions that were in SSI.php file before upgrade to 2.0.

They make to work the 3 recent topics modules that were on home page before the upgrade... Now how to make them working again? Does exist a better way to do it? I prefer not to modify SSI.php file.

Put the function in a file, and then include that file into where ever you are calling the function. This way you don't have to modify any SMF files, just include your file

Anyway it doesn't work, i think the code i posted above it isn't compatible anymore with SMF 2.0.

Do you know a better or updated way to show latest posts in TP blocks?
