I must be really stupid because I'll be damned if I can find this setting, provided it exists wich it must due to some of my other articles.

Most if not all of my articles dont have the posted in up top by the edit link but the two most recent ones do. All categories have the same setting, most if not all aritcles have the same setting but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to stop posted in from showing by the edit link but again, I must have set it somewhere before because it's not showing on a majority of my other articles, Ty.

Edit: Not that it matters because with the above I'd essentially be turning off category view but if I view a category no articles from it show.

Edit 2: Also getting these...

The last two errors you posted are because in one of your categories you haven't selected a layout type or layout, as no default is selected. This has been fixed in the next version.

Thx for that and again, as stupid as it sounds I still cant figure out the posted in thing and I've ticked alot of settings. I've been over cat settings, article settings... theres not much left to be unticked and most if not all articles have the same setting. Now as dumb as it may sound how about tossing me a fish on this one or would you rather I continue to try and fish which I've been doin with no nibbles yet ;-)

Can you give me 2 links so that I can see this for myself?  ~~~ One with the posted in thing showing and the other one with it missing.  Make sure that Guests can see the links so that I can see them without being logged in.

Like I said, brain fart, I just realized the issue.

Main page articles: myu2sig.com/foum/

Onw of the same article by itself: http://www.myu2sig.com/forum/index.php?page=2;tpreview

Anyway, i guess it now becomes: How do I stop the posted in from showing on front page articles.

Also, lets switch gears on the brain fart.

Like I said, since I'm effectively hiding category view I guess this one doesnt matter much but why arent they showing on category view ?

I can't see anything in the category view as a Guest so there isn't much I can tell about this if you are hiding them.  Each category can use a different layout for articles published on the FrontPage.  Try different layouts.

Hmmm, well, I know there were a few bugs with the SMF 1.1.13 version.  You can't imagine how difficult it is to make the software work properly with bot SMF 1.1.x and SMF 2.0.  On your other question, did you "Try different layouts", as I mentioned in my last message?

Ya, but I'm still experimenting with them.

As for the posted in thing, maybe I can figure out what file it's in and just remove the <a href link and the other stuff that displays it.

Edit: Should I report the category view thing as a bug for 2.0 ?

You can if you want to.  If it's a duplicate of another bug, we'll just mark it as such.
