Would I be correct in this assumption ?

Ok, look at the two pics of the same page, one is taken from SMF 1.1.x while the other from SMF 2.0. Anyway, there are some subtle differences in regards to the article in the middle but they're so small they're easy to live with. What's not easy to live with, and this is just me since some would just argue why dont you resize the panel. Point is I need to adhere to certain size restrictions. In any case, notice the major difference in the left blocks of the two pics. Would I be correct in assuming this is a TP thing with the 1.0 branch or more of a theme thing ?

Ps; Again, I need to adhere to certin size restrictions, I had to restore a backup of 1.1 to a sub folder for the pic but both left blocks in both pics are set to a 210 width via TP's admin panel.

You are referring to the scroll bar beneath where it says killzone? If you don't want to increase the width of the left column, then reduce the size of the image.

Not just that but look at the block below it, again, both blocks are set to 210 width, images and everything same size in both. Also, again I ask... would this be a TP thing or a theme / css thing ?

I'm guessing alot of it, for the second block any way has to do with subtle tezt size differences.

Most likely some subtle changes in TP that block made between the versions.

WillyP

You can use css to change it to whatever you want. Take a look with Firebug. It doesn't really matter weather it is a difference in the theme or with TP, the solution will be the same.

WillyP,

I actually looked at his site a couple of days ago and thought he solved the problem but I'm really not sure since he never marked this topic solved.

I pretty much gabe up on it and just widened the blocks a bit and redid the css for the content since thats CSS I understand.

In any case, I guess I forgot to mark this solved. My main concer right now is the below linked post which people either have:

A) Forgotten About

or

B) No SQL guru's have seen it

With that said, if anyone wants to give it a shot I'm all ears.

Well, I don't know too much about SQL queries, well at least not as much as most people do so maybe someone will be able to help you on that.

On that block, I didn't know at the time how you fixed it, I just knew after I looked at it for a second time that it looked right.

There is a class somewhere on your site called "p.stellarwebsolutions" or just "stellarwebsolutions".  One of the things that it defines is the font-size, defined as "smaller" which, I believe, is the same as "x-small" or, if not, is very close.  This class is defined somewhere, either from a Mod (maybe the Treasury Mod or could be another Mod but I can't be sure without downloading it and looking) or in the block code itself.  If you can find out where this class is defined, and make the font-size "xx-small", you might be able to get it to fit with the panel width that you were using before.

Ya, maybe... in either case I'm gonna mark this as solved. As for the query though, its from the post I beleieve you told me and freddy to seperate as to not confuse other users since it was originally built around 1.x.
