registration problem

I think after installing TP , my registration setup has stopped working, after someone tried to register they are redirected back to the original registration page withoput being registered,

can anyone help??

I quick test on my SMF1.1.12 install and I didn't have any problems with the registration. If I were you I would try uninstalling the mods you have one by one to see if the problem is fixed after you remove one.

I did what you asked and after I uninstalled tinyportal i was able to register!
But when i tried to install TP in the first instance this is the error message I get:

I'm using custom theme, maybe the babylon theme is the problem with registration?

Themes/babylon/index.template.php  is no longer in SMF 1.1.12 so you should be able to ignore that warning an carry on with the install.

I tried registering after reapplying tinyportal mod and same problem occured, so the issue is definately with tinyportal

Has there been any previous problems with TP and Blackrain V2 Theme?

It is always best to install mods like TinyPortal using the default theme! have you tried to register using the default theme?

I changed to default theme and applied TP , tried to register, still go the same problem :/ It loops back to the original page
Weirdly my problem has been solved here: http://www.smfsupport.com/support/general-support/can't-register-32023/
but i'm not hosted by them so they can't help...

Try unistalling that mod and try again to register.

I really dont think its TP, I have just made a fresh install of smf1.1.12 and tp rc1, with blackrain theme too, and have no problems with registration.

I've tried uninstalling all mods except for TP on defaul theme and no luck :/
Is there specific files i can send you for you to see?
I'd really like to have TP on my forum!

This is very strange, I have just tried to reg on your site, with FF and IE8 and I get the same!

Could you have a look in settings.php and tell what is on this line... should be like this below
