By default my User portal allows upload file function.

Am I just seeing all the functions that user has permission for? If I want to remove the upload function do I go to the normal smf admin panel and change permissions?

Thanks.

For questions like these, it is best for you to setup a test user that is not an admin so you can see what a regular user sees. In the future, you need to tell us what versions of software you are using. We have no idea how to answer if you don't give us the information we need to answer a question.
