Installation problem TinyPortal 1.0 beta 5.2
« on: July 31, 2010, 08:04:25 AM »
I'm just trying out SMF 2rc3 and TinyPortal 1.0 beta 5.2 and I have an install problem. Everything seams to go fine installing TP but The main forum and posts disappear once installed. I have done a full manual check on all files and everything is edited correctly. The database updated too from 9.8 (I'm working on a duplicate of our large forum database SMF1.1 with a fresh 2.0 conversion) I even tried putting in all new 2.0 files in case there was a problem with our updated 1.1 but it's the same. I believe I have checked all the paths in the DB and settings.php etc and I'm at a loss now.
When in Admin the page seams to display normally but there are no TP blocks showing Whereas in the forum view the blocks show (not right though) but no posts
I get two errors in the logs
Quote
2: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
File: //Themes/default/TPsubs.template.php(48) : eval()'d code
Line: 134
and
Quote
2: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
File: //Themes/default/TPsubs.template.php(48) : eval()'d code
Line: 147
Any Ideas?

Forget it chaps!
It was a snippet of block code from the original forum causing it. Everything is dandy now.
