There can't be to many. TP suits me, the others don't. It's really that simple to me.
Could we live with only 1 car manufacturer, could we live with only 1 forum software? Competition is what makes things better.

SN

The one that functions most like a CMS Like.. joomla, xoops, Wordpress etc (yes i know wordpress isnt a CMS but people still use it as one) will always suit me the most.

TP is most like a CMS imo, because of it Article System

In My Honnest opinnion, Tiny portal is the best portal for SMF available,

My favorite scripts are:

-SMF Forum (free)
-TinyPortal for SMF (free)
-Joomla CMS (free)
-YOOTHEME templates (commercial)
-JOOMSOCIAL joomla social network (commercial)

too bad they dont integrate without problems

I tested few in past portal mods like SP or PortaMX but honestly I don't like them :) (when I seen info about closing TP and read only the title about it... my reaction was OMG WHAT I WILL DO NOW :(:(:(:( )
