SSI Function On Main Page Of My Site

I was reading through the list of ssi codes that Xarcell posted up and i was wondering what the code would be to get it to work on the main page of a site?.......i've seen it done on this site www.thegaff.net

no im talkin about on my home page as in this page www.whip-lash.co.nr  can you get ssi functions on it?
