Hi,

once again, some installation problems.

I'm using the SMF 2.0 RC3 without any modifications, yet.

Only the german-language pack is installed.
(If interessting: I have to install it manually because there were some problems with the auto-installer)

Now i tried to install the tiny portal beta5 (also the beta5-1)
but always i get this error message:

1.  Extract Tree  ./Themes
2. Extract Tree ./Themes
3. Extract Tree ./Sources
4. Extract Tree ./tp-downloads
5. Extract Tree ./tp-images
6. Extract Tree ./tp-files
7. Execute Modification SMF2RC3/tinyportal200rc3.mod Modification parse error
8. Adapt Database SMF2RC3/tp_upgrade.php

After installing anyway i get these error-message:

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/var/kunden/webs/oemler/forum/Packages/temp/./SMF2RC3/tp_upgrade.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/kunden/webs/oemler/forum/Sources/Packages.php  on line 957

The root-directory is set to CHMOD 777.
If I have to contact my hoster, please tell me what he have to do.

So i hope you can help me with this problem.

Sincerly

Looks like a permissions problem to me. Do this and see if the install works for you.
1. Remove your current install.
2. Unzip the TP package on your desktop in a folder called TP. Upload that folder and all the TP files in it, to your packages folder. You should now see in your Admin > Packages a link to install TP. See if the modifications still give you an error before the install.

If it still errors, you need to make sure that your server has permission to write to all the files. Your host can help you with that.
