Hi:

First of all, I'd like to thanks to the team behind this project for developing it, this portal is just awesome.

I'd like to know if there's a way to allow normal users to write normal bbc articles, directly, as it were a post. I've setup the permissions so user can write an article, but when they link, TP send them to the forum index.

Thanks for your help.

Ken.

Hi moyack, welcome to TinyPortal.

If you'll give us the information asked for in the posting guidelines it will be lots easier to help. :)
Posting Guidelines

Also, some more detail on how you've set your permissions and what happens to a user when trying to use the system.

Thanks.

No problem :)

I use SMF 2.0 RC3
Tiny Portal 1.0 Beta 5 (the latest, latest)

In the first screenshot I go to permissions, and then I get the interface to set them. In the second one I set normal users with the ability to create a bcc article.

When the user tries to create an article via Tinyportal > Write BBC Article, the user is sent to the main forum index.

It seems like writing an article requires admin or moderator power. Is that truth?
