There is no code. You'll have to come up with the code to put in their yourself. Or you could just change the comment text I suppose. I don't know where it's at off hand. I'd start by looking in the TPsubs.php or TPsubs.template.php file.

I had to implement the feature TS asked for, because forum posts at my news board could be really large and I just can't afford myself having like 30 kbs news posts at my frontpage. However, all this looks pretty much like dirty hack and I hope Bloc will make an option to put "Read more" link in forum posts into the future TP release.

To those who interested how is it possible to achieve this:
1. I made hidden 1x1 transparent smile.
2. In the code that retrieves data for the front page I inserted the check: If there is "hidden smile" in the string, I replace it with "Read more" link and cut the remaining part ot the post.

Now I put my precious smile after an "intro" part of the post and it does what I want: at the front page I have "truncated" post and at the forum users can read the whole story. However, I will have to make these changes at every new TP upgrade so I hope that it will become official feature sometime.

NCKerm,

Could you detail exactly what you did to accomplish this including what file or files you edited, the code to look for, and the code to replace it with, and attach your transparent smile to your post.  If it sounds like a good feature after you have done this, we will ask you to place this into the BugTracker as a Feature Request so that bloc will see it when he's coding, with a reference to this topic.
