I did a search and couldn't find this.

But I just installed TP 1.0 5.1 for SMF 2.0 RC2

It was looking great but when I try to mod or use the shout box I get this error

"
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/northtex/public_html/forum/tp-files/tp-modules/TPShout/Sources/TPShout.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/northtex/public_html/forum/Sources/TPmodules.php on line 83"

That is new to me.

Thanks

RR

Does the file that is referenced in your error exist on your server?

Well this is odd, when I get to "tp-modules" it doesn't open on my FTP, it only gives me the option to view it...so I would say No it is not there.

IchBin

I would upload the TP files then, make sure everything is all there.

rollingrock

that is very odd, I just did a clean upload and install.....so what do I do, overwrite it and do it again?

If you cant open a file through FTP on your server it's more likly a permission issue with the folders and files.
Make sure you can add files manually to your server and also that you are allowed to change them.
Look in your FTP software info window during the upload of the files when you do it manually and see if the files are rejected by the server. If so, you have permission issues and need to change that so your allowed to add files and folders, and also that they can be readable.

So should I remove the files from FTP (BTW, FTW is working fine, TP files have a per of 777)  then reload or manually open the zip and see what didn't go?

bloc

Just upload them in one go, overwriting current ones does no harm.

But if you get error of "tp-modules" being viewed instead of entered(as a folder would do), it would seem tp-modules on your server is a file, rather than a folder(can happen during faulty unpacking). So delete that first, some ftp software halts at overwriting a filename with the exact same name as a folder.

Hello Bloc first I am honored to have you post in my thread...  :)   I am a little confused...should I upload via FTP or upload using package manager from SMF?

Thanks much, off to "real work" job.

IchBin

Upload and replace files using FTP.
