I have two layout problems with beta 5. The names of the home page blocks are now in a large font and the bottom of the blocks are cut off. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Xarcell

How does it look in other themes?

Is the bottom there or not?

dbg20

I am not sure as the deafult theme is the only one I use and the only one I have installed.

No idea where to manually change this? Should I just uninstall it? If I uninstall it will it revert back to the beta 4?

SN

How did you install b5?

Uninstall B4 first, then install B5?

dbg20

No I installed the 5 on top of the 4. It said in the instructions it would find the files and change them as needed.

I have went ahead and uninstalled it. It was also throwing 500 Internal Server Errors on the profile pages links. I will wait until it is a bit more stable. Thanks :)

Make sure you followed instructions. Uninstall TP Beta 4. Then Installed TP Beta 5. You will not lose your content, as the tables will not be removed during installation. That's what it means by being able to being able to change as needed.

If you uninstalled, you can delete the TP beta 4 package in your packages manager. Then install TP beta 5.

TP is pretty stable as it's gonna get at this point. You just need to make sure you install properly.

Read Instructions carefully:

How to install/upgrade?

Just use the package manager and it will find the old TP files, it will happily upgrade from TP 1.0 betas - but from earlier versions you will need to un-install those first, then re-install beta5.

Note that TP is still considered as beta and it may still contain bugs. Make backups before attempting upgrade or install of TinyPortal.
