I tried to install this beta in a fresh full SMF 2.0 RC3 and get this error, Installations actions for "TinyPortal" The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.
Using advance and changing to earlier SMF version did nothing.

Bionic Rooster,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

Nobody else has reported a problem with installing beta 5 using the SMF Package Manager.  Please try opening the zipfile with your zip extraction program to make sure it has files in it.  Also, you might try downloading the file again as you may have gotten a bad download the first time.  If you are still having problems with the install after this, it's likely a permissions issue on your site.

Do do you mean changing earlier SMF version did nothing? What version are you using?

What I mean is I have a new full install of SMF 2.0 RC3 on a test board.
I tried to install TP which uploads fine but gives the aformentioned error when trying to install.
So in package manager/advance I tried to "Emulate Versions" and got the same errors. I did as suggested and dl'd TP again from this site and it still will not install. :tickedoff:

OFF TOPIC: What smiley set are used on this forum and where can I get them?

IchBin

In SMF2 you can create a folder in the Package folder, upload all the TP files to it. It should then show you the mod in your packages page so you can click install. See if that works.

Bionic Rooster

@IchBin
That worked, thanks. ;)

G6Cad

The smiley set used here are custom for tp and cant be chosen from any predefined smileypackage

Any reason why this is in the News section?
(only asking because I noticed it's shown on the front page)

Ooops, sorry that was my fault I split the topic and didn't think to check what board it was in.
