Is TP ready to offer support?  You know this house will be jumpin' once tp5 is released. ;)

You really think so?  I hope you're right. ::) I think we'll be able to handle it.

Beta 5 is going to be worlds better wrt being more user intuitive.  In other words, so far, from my experience, it's much easier to use than previous versions.  When used with SMF 2.0 RC2, there is a TinyPortal menu right on the FrontPage and/or Forum BoardIndex so that you don't have to go into Admin first.  I would go so far as to say that because of it's ease of use, we won't get nearly as many questions on how to use it or how to do things than we did in previous versions.  I think a majority of the questions we receive are going to be how to fix the occasional bug thats going to pop up.  This should make life a little easier.  Also, people are going to have to realize that a lot of the block code snippets that worked great on their TP 1.1.x sites just aren't going to work at all with this new version.  They will have to be edited to work properly or just discarded in favor of something else.  That will take some time.  I'm hoping that people will be patient with us. ;)

Of course, this is all just my opinion.  Some of the other members of the Team may have a different take on it.

I think you described pretty good, ZP.

Some of screens in TP admin have been merged, and some simplified, just to ease the complexity. And as the menu now has direct links into the most used TP admin sections(it also give a menu if you only have part access to them) it should be easier to work with.
