Failure to block news. Help !

Hi,

You see, I TinyPortal v1.0 beta 4 with 1.1.10 and SMF Seo4smf for friendly url.

The problem I have is that on the cover, the central block of where they exit the latest news items published, the url I get the title like this:

http://titlepost.html

instead of:

http://www.myurl.net/cateogry/titlepost.html



of course the first way I work and is a nuisance to me that generating thousands of 404 errors per day.

Anybody know where that file is generated url to see how I can fix it?

because it generates wrong URL and gives me plenty of 404 errors throughout the day ...

Wouldn't have a clue how that pretty url's mod works. You'll have to ask the mod author as we don't support that mod here.

You think the problem is part of the friendly URLs instead of TinyPortal SeoSMF? if so would give me enough work.

TinyPortal doesn't rewrite any URL's. So it that would indicate that any SEO mod you have is doing it.

Will you not need to modify the template file that generates the front page, so that it outputs a 'clean' url?

I'm guessing the seo4smf mod affects $scripturl???
I've not looked at any of the clean url mods, so am only speculating, but it has to modify the underlying code for generating urls on the pages.
