Own TinyPortal theme

Hello Guys,
it is possible to set a different theme for the portal as for the board.
I would like to design my own theme for the TinyPortal and for the board use a free theme...

Hi Max,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

There is a nice, little known, feature that will let you set your Forum default theme to be one thing and your Front Page featured article with another theme.  This will cause your FP to use a different theme than your Forum default.  This sounds like what you are trying to do.

So i'm using SMF and TP for just a few mins... I use the for a Sim-Racing Team and we used Clansphere before but thats not good for us... I looked for a simple board with an good Portal, like its here :]

This Sim-Racing Team use the same Software and i was inspired by them and want to have nearly the same.

Max,

Yes, your English is fine.  The site you referenced is doing it a different way since they aren't using TinyPortal on their Forum.  What they have done is ...

They have setup a standalone website for their main page.  This site (http://www.sonicrealmsracing.co.uk/) is a website they have setup themselves which has a Forum button on it.  When you click on the Forum button it takes you to their standalone Forum.  Their main page and their Forum aren't connected.

The same thing can basically be done by you using TinyPortal as it creates it's own Front Page, which is connected to the Forum.  If you click the link below, you willl see an example of what I'm saying, which is one of my test sites.  The Main Page becomes the FrontPage of the Forum and uses the Topaz theme.  When you click the Forum button in the upper right of that page, you will be taken to the actual Forum Board Index, which uses a different theme.  Here's the link to my test site ...

I think this is the effect you want, only using your own themes.

Ahh ok, I understand.
I thinked that they use TP cause its all linkes to the Forum.

But ok we'll use the TP so I work a bit on this to learn and then I'll write here back
