Hi there,

I have searched the forum but found nothing regarding H1 tags implementation for Article Titles

As you most likely know h1 is really important for SE, thats why can you help me implement those in Article title which is posted on a main page, such as this one: http://inplaywepro.com/index.php/page,2.html

I hope i can get some help with this, because that really matters  :-\

You should read up a bit more on that. It's not that h1 is that important. It's that you use the right <h*> tag in the right place. h1 would make the titles HUGE. Is that really the proper use? No. Search engines don't rank or give a page indexing just for an h1 tag. However, if you want to change it you'll have to change it in the code. In the TPBlocks.template.php file there are layout functions for all the different frontpage layouts of TP. You'll have to go through all of them in the file and change the appropriate ones.

Okay thank you for your explanations
but i can simply use the font code also, i shall play with it a little
Dont close it yet please I`ll update you if its a success =)

Usually the H1 tag is said to be reserved for site name, while H2 is the normal "main" header for major sections or pages. Its not something you NEED to do, but thats why I didn't use H1 for the article titles, but rather H2/H3.

TPortal.template.php is the place to change header tags, search for "H2" or "H3".

IchBin

You sure about that Bloc ? lol I searched through that file and didn't find any references to h3. I only found them in the vi TPLayout() functions in the TPBlocks.template.

Hm, well, maybe it was different in beta4 :P I have to check that.

IchBin

Ah yes. I didn't think about that. I did check in beta4 on an old site of mine. I haven't looked at beta5 yet for this. :)
