Help! Guests able to access "no guest areas"

I have a history site where I wished to make our publications page only for members. I set the category, called "members only" to not allow guest access, but they can still see the article?? Any ideas why?

Not that some of it matters because I ALSO cannot get to Features and Options... dragooon had sent me a patch for this, but it won't work either.  Sometimes a little frustrating this kinda thing... w/ the Features and Options problem, I get this when clicking it:

For your second problem, it looks like there's a missing end parenthesis on line 185 of Sources/ModSettings.php. If you post the line (or attach the file), I'll check it out for you.

I did a search. It seems when I do, I never find it until someone tells me HOW to search. I was searching under guest access and variants and found nothing. I looked at the solutions... I don't even know where to start.

There's a missing comma at the end of the line in your file.
