Enhance the new "Tags" feature.

The new "Tags" feature in TP 1.0 is real nice, I will be using it a lot on my forum and I think it could benefit from a few enhancements.

I'm thinking of a "Tags search" for the users.  Here's how I see it.

I would have a 2nd fields in the Tags for a description that the users would see, we could show them the actual tag but I'd prefer keeping the tag short and have another field for a longer description.

The search module would have 2 options.

1: A search for tags themselves.  The user enters keywords, he gets a result set with all the tags containing those words.  They would be displayed as links which would either bring up a list of all the topics with that tag or simply take the user to the first topic that has that tag.  I'm not sure which way would be the best/easiest to implement.

2: The top of the "search tags" screen would have a drop list with all the tags. The user can choose from the list and click a "Go" button which would perform the same as clicking a Tag in the list as described above.

The Tags feature is already very nice but I think that adding a search tool to it would make a very nice tool for admins and users.  Searching for topics on a subject is always difficult in big forums because we often get lots of unrelated subjects using the searched keywords.  If used and maintained properly by admins, Searchable tags could make life a lot easier for member and reduce the number of "Use the search" replies in a forum.

Another suggestion, not sure if I should start another topic for it.

If there's a lot of Articles/Boards/Topics assigned to a tag it could take up a lot of space at the top of a page.  It would be nice if the block that shows them had a collapse/expand button. Maybe even go one step further and add a checkbox field to the "Look and Layout preferences" in the profiles where users could completely disable the "Related Links" if they want to.

It would be nice if the SMF search function allowed you to search for all topics, posts and articles with a particular tag, perhaps even for the search function in the Download Manager.  Maybe something for the future.
