Can you get onto SMF?

[FERNSIDEâ„¢]

Howdy peeps,
Is it just me, or is SMF unreachable at the moment?
I've been trying for over an hour, but had comp probs so Im hoping it aint just me

Cheers

[Lesmond]

They have been updating to the new SMF 2.0 RC2 for a few days, so its been on and off while they are working on that, I would think

[mc]

I've not been able to get on for the past few hours.

[FERNSIDEâ„¢]

ahh ok, thanks.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Did someone spill their peanut butter jelly sandwich on the main server? lol
I'd expect to see a maintenance message atleast, but just cannot even reach the server.

[G6Cad]

Did you read lesmonds post ?

[FERNSIDEâ„¢]

lol yes mam, I was trying to spark up some conspiracy theories for a laugh.
Humour isn't my favoured trait

[bloc]

lol, afaik I know they were looking at some optimizations for the servers in regards to RC2 version yesterday(and prob. today). They have 2-3 of them.

[FERNSIDEâ„¢]

Ahh yep, cheers Bloc.
It was only today/yesterday that I noticed how involved you are with smf, by reading some of the staffs comments about your involvement in its development.
Good stuff mate.
and thanks
