This is something I will definitely have to try out at work.

Our MIS (Medieval Information Sadists) department refuses to allow anything but IE 6 at work- resulting in poor performance for our 'technology crimes' research, often with IE shutting down or otherwise not working as we investigate things on the net.

Now, with this bit of info, I can't wait to see what it will do with our "security" policy that is in place. We are locked down so tight that we can't change the time on the computer or use USB drives on some of the computers.  :buck2: It is hard to work under these conditions, but that may change very soon.

I doubt I'd be even able to download it, let alone install it at work.  ::)

It's not that companies wonââ,¬â,,¢t upgrade their browsers, it's more the point that there are so many Group Policies covering Laptops, Desktops, User Accounts, Contractors, Websites blacklists, whitelists, specific software incorporated into IE6: SAP, Nucleus (our internal network) etc..

Iââ,¬â,,¢m sure fish higher up the food chain are using more modern browsers.. but us grunts in the outback, sheesh, my machine runs on XP Pro, 512MB ram, 3GHz CPU (amazing actually) IE6 and the slowest net connection over some olââ,¬â,,¢ copper conductor.

You have more chance upgrading a small company than a large corporation.. unless youââ,¬â,,¢re M$ or Google, whose whole existence is computer driven.

Still, Chrome is cool  8)

Making something work inside of another application is begging for issues that are not fully understood or researched.
