Oh dear, now it seems like i can't post any articles without seeing the white screen.  :'(

IchBin

Check your server apache logs and see what error you are getting when you get the white page.

JosephOhSnap

[client 24.160.156.124] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get2by2host_copyright() in /chroot/home/shaqatta/shaqattackclan.com/html/smf/Sources/Load.php(1748) : eval()'d code on line 373, referer: http://www.vulgardisplayclan.com/smf/index.php/board,13.0.html

Fatal Error  :-\

IchBin

That is not an error caused by tinyportal. It is from another mod you have installed. I'd suggest you search at SMF for your problem.

I was attempting to put the site into maintenance mode to disable plug-ins individually to find out which was causing the problem, when i got these error messages.

These settings cannot be changed because Settings.php is read only.
So i went to the file manager and checked off every available box in the chmod (rwx rwx rwx rwx) and i was able to write to that file... until i saw this.

Failed to make backup of Settings.php - make sure Settings_bak.php exists and is writable.
I then checked off all of the boxes on that file as well, but i am still getting that message.

I am starting to regret changing the file permissions on everything.  :-\

JosephOhSnap,

Something in your SMF install, and possibly in your TP install, has become corrupted.  You can tell this by taking a look at the bottom of your site and comparing it to what the site should look like.  Scroll to the very bottom of your site and make note of everything from "TinyPortal v1.0 beta 4 Ã,© Bloc" and below.  Note that the SMF copyright is not centered below the TP copyright on your site.  Also, notice that there are 2 images (with links to http://www.mysql.com/ and http://www.php.net/) on the left side.  Now, take a look at the same thing on the TP Team test site (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php).  Scroll down and look at the bottom.  Note that both the TP and SMF copyrights are centered and also note the presence of the other 2 images (with links) below them on the right side, for a total of 4 image links (your site only has the 2 on the left).  This is how the footer should appear on your page as well.

Also, I tried to look at your site without blocks using this link and it doesn't work ...
http://www.vulgardisplayclan.com/smf/index.php?action=forum;noblocks

This is an indication that some code is either missing or corrupted.

I suggest that what you need to do is download the SMF large upgrade package, unzip it into a temp folder on your computer, and upload (and overwrite) the files contained within it to your site.  This will wipe out all your Mods (including TP) but your Forum and it's posts will be preserved.  After that, you can apply your Mods again one at a time.  I would start with TP first, and make sure that they are applied correctly.  This should fix your SMF install.

Once you have done that you can apply your other Mods back in, one at a time, stopping each time to make sure each one is working.

Let us know if you need additional help along the way.

I think noblocks is only available if you are admin Zar.

@Ichbin, you're right.  My bad.  I remember thinking at one time that it worked for anyone, but I just tried it.  In any case, there is still something that is not quite right with his install.

Edit:  Hmmm, I just looked at his site and magically, everything appears as it should now, so maybe the SMF fairies fixed it for him overnight. ::)

No ZarPrime, i ended up doing what you said. But i still get the white screen when i try to post an article. I still don't know what is causing that.

Bump.
Still not able to post articles. Any ideas?

Also, on a unimportant issue:
How to i make the shout-box bigger?
Don't feel obligated to answer issue 2, but i need help with the first one to continue with development.

Thanks in advanced, because i know you saints will fix this :)
