Enlarging the articles and other issues.

Ok, first, let me thanks you all for this great mod, Tinyportal is doing just good with my site  :coolsmiley:

First, I was wondering how to enlarge the articles block, and why isn't such option in the blocks and panels admin area:

For example, in the left panel, you can easily modify the width of the panel



But in the front panel, you can't


(and also, why isn't in this section a drawing like in the other panel sections?)


Also, I'm getting an error when I try to create a new BBC article. the error is the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function preparsecode() in /homepages/15/d230059892/htdocs/Sources/TPortalAdmin.php on line 1016

But when I create a HTML one, I don't get that error. If I create a HTML, and then I edit to change the formatting to BBC, I can easily edit it in BBC and save it. This error only shows when creating a new BBC article.

The other thing is my error log, when I refresh the index.php page, my error log get filled with this:

Hi Darkkurama, welcome to TinyPortal.

Generally it's best to only list one issue per topic, makes it easier to answer and then later when another member is doing a search it makes for easier searching and reading.

If you set the values in "Width of this panel:" to whatever width you need then all blocks in that panel will show at that value. (170, 180, 200... etc.)

If you do a search for both of your other issues you'll find that they have had several topics for each.

EDIT:
You don't access the Shoutbox directly using "?action=tpmod;shout".
Do this; go to your TP Blocks menu and add a block for 'TP Module', save it and then do an edit and select the Shoutbox. Be sure to set the block to show wherever you want it to be displayed.

Well, about the Width of the front panel, that's exactly the point, I don't know how to change the width if there is no "Width of this panel:" option! (see second image)

Darkkurama,

There is a width setting only for the left and right panels.  The other panels set their widths automatically based on the width of the content in your theme and whether the left and right panel are showing or not.  There is no picture for the FrontPanel because it's either showing or not showing based on your FrontPage settings.  Likewise, there is no [show][Hide] option for FrontPanel blocks for the same reason.
