In the default theme my right block (column) does not alway align with the rest of the site.

SMF 1.1 RC2/TP .86

I have the right blocks to show when I enter the forum and it is set at 200 pixels.  The left blocks to not show when I enter the forum.

Seems to only happen with the SMF Default theme and on the forum page.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes the 'content' of a block can 'push' it wider. I did not see the right side blocks on your site, I assume they are for members only.

OK, I see it now, but for me, it's the body of the forum which is too wide, pushing the right side blocks out past the forum top user box.  Do you have a fixed forum width set in current theme settings?

No, I didn't see a setting for the width of the forum in the SMF Default theme.  I'll check again thou.  After I posted a thread in a different area of the forum, which has a different theme, then went back to the main forum page, the right block/column snapped back into place in the right alignment.

This only appears on index page, not in display.template, or other pages.
So the problem could be with boardindex.template or index.template near the
// The main content should go here.  A table is used because IE 6 just can't handle a div.
echo '
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"><tr>';

lines.
Try to compare the code from a new file with what you have on your server. Take into consideration the mods installed.

Great, thanks I'll check it out.

Both the server and local copies have this in the index.template.php

// The main content should go here.  A table is used because IE 6 just can't handle a div.
   echo '
   <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"><tr>';

Just as you have it.  Should I change the 100% to 80%?  The forum fixed itself right now.   :o

Here's some code in the SMF boardindex.template.php

/* Each post in latest_posts has:
               board (with an id, name, and link.), topic (the topic's id.), poster (with id, name, and link.),
               subject, short_subject (shortened with...), time, link, and href. */
         foreach ($context['latest_posts'] as $post)
            echo '
                     <tr>
                        <td class="middletext" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">', $post['link'], ' ', $txt[525], ' ', $post['poster']['link'], ' (', $post['board']['link'], ')</td>
                        <td class="middletext" align="right" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">', $post['time'], '</td>
                     </tr>';
         echo '
                  </table>';
      }
      echo '
               </td>
            </tr>';
   }

Which is different that what's say in my Helios boardindex.template.php

/* Each post in latest_posts has:
                                board (with an id, name, and link.), topic (the topic's id.), poster (with id, name, and link.),
                                subject, short_subject (shortened with...), time, link, and href. */
                        foreach ($context['latest_posts'] as $post)
                                echo '
                                <tr>
                                        <td class="smalltext" align="right" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">[', $post['board']['link'], ']</td>
                                        <td class="smalltext" valign="top">', $post['link'], ' ', $txt[525], ' ', $post['poster']['link'], '</td>
                                        <td class="smalltext" align="right" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">', $post['time'], '</td>
                                </tr>';
                        echo '
                        </table>';
                }
                echo '
                </td>
        </tr>';
        }

Could the difference in the SMF default theme cause the right blocks to push out?
