Hello All,

Ready to go but have a few questions prior to install. Should SMF/TP be installed in the root or a dir (/forum/). I'd rather have my homepage resolve to mysite.com vs mysite.com/forum. Thx in advance.

Ken.

Hi plusev, welcome to TinyPortal.

Actually your question is better asked on the SMF forums because TP is a Mod that is installed to SMF and the site url is a function of SMF.

Doesent matter where you install your SMF, but TP must be installed in the same dir as SMF.
You cant have SMF in one location and the portal in another.

To further add, this depends on whether you want SMF/TP to be your home page. If you do, then yes put them in your root directory.

Yes, I do want SMF/TP to be the homepage, so root it is.

Thx to all
