How can I have my frontpage show my frontpanel so I can have some intro text etc and also have the forum index show underneath this?

I have tried the Forum/SSI functions (Top Boards) but this doesn't look as good as the standard index.

Greetings willcom,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

Generally, you can't show both your frontpanel AND the forum index on the the front page.  You can do one or the other.  However, there are things you can do, like setting up an upper or lower block for your intro text, with your forum index below it.

If you will Please Read and Follow the Posting Guidelines, fill out the template at the bottom of that topic, and edit the information into your OP, we will be better able to help you.  Specifically, we need to know what versions of SMF and TP you are using and a link to your site so that we can follow your progress and make suggestions.  Also, we need to know what your settings are for ...

You can't have frontpage panels and the forum both on the same page. That's rather the point of the front page. What you can do is to move your text from frontpage panels to top panels. Those can be viewed at the same time as the forum.

I can't give you any more information because you have not yet followed the posting guidelines.
