You're 100% right - my bad ...

I realize TP is a "mod" to SMF ... but I see it as such a high value "mod" that it is the "tail wagging the dog" in my mind. 

PS - no disprespect to SMF intended, SMF is no "dog" - I'm just using a common phrase to describe the creative and innovative, but somewhat inverse nature of a forum w/ a "portal mod".  It's a bit unusual for newbies to grasp the concept of a forum with a portal/CMS mod as most go looking for portal/CMS first and think forum support later.  I can certainly see how a newbie might try and install TinyPortal first.
