Upgrade Advise

I've contemplated upgrading my site for some time now, as you can see - I am using a couple of older versions of SMF and TP.

Any advise from you folks as to what's a bigger priority? I mean, if I upgrade SMF, I'd have to redo all my MODs and themes, no?

...And if I upgrade TP, what version would be the best to upgrade to?

...If I decide to upgrade both, what versions should I upgrade to?

The site's very stable and now 4 years old. I'd hate to spend days upgrading/updating without knowing where to start and ruin the experience for all the members on my site...

The only adice to give is the proper one,

1. Upgrade SMF as it's the base, every upgrade holds security fixes.

2. Upgrade your site with the patch and see if it passes the tests. if it doesent, then you have to do the big upgrade and yes, the big upgrade will make you redo the mods.

3. TP Beta4 ( the latest version ) as it contains the newest fixes.

TP Will not work with SMF 2rc versions, TP will only work on SMF 1.1.9
