The issue is that the date shown on Front Page posts is shown in English
despite the TP language files being correct.  I don't know how this is
possible.  Could this date be coming from somewhere else that I don't know
about?  At the end of the topic, Dark Wolf mentioned a line in the
TPortal.template.php that could be an issue.

Also, Ianedres mentioned a possible solution regarding "setlocale".

- Date didn't pay respect to locale settngs. Fixed for TP 1.0 beta4.

Open TPortalBlocks.template and find these lines(there are 3-4 of them):

' . date("M",$story['timestamp']). '
replace with:
' . $txt['months_short'][date("n", $story['timestamp'])] . '
