Smf and TinyPortal Installation

Hello there,

I have seen that tinyportal has only support for certain themes which are provided on this site.

For example if I wanted to install tinyportal with the following template: urban at http://demo.dzinerstudio.com/

what steps do I need to take?

Welcome back to TinyPortal.

In addition to what Lesmond mentioned above, I might also mention that DzinerStudio provides support for all their premium themes on their site when you purchase the Urban theme or any of their premium themes.  Their themes work fine with TP 1.x.

In essence, what you're going to do is ...

1.  Install SMF 1.1.8 (TP does not yet work with SMF 2.x plus).
2.  Use the package manager to install TP 1.0 beta 3.
3.  Install your custom theme.
4.  You might have to add a Forum button to your custom theme.  That's the only thing you might have to do.  If you need to do that, this topic will help you to do that --> How to add a Home button or a new tab?

You can get support from DzinerStudio aswell, there are some good ppl there that will help you in no time.

As far as i know about the home button, it will come up as soon as you have installed TP and you have nothing else to do.

If you wanna add some more buttons and menus, you should ask for support in the specific premium theme board from DzinerStudio.
