Hi everybody, even though I am not new

I hope you can help me....I had Tinyportal 0.983 from the moment I started forum, worked great, but now I saw beta3 and I planed on doing a small portal (tinyportal is what I need) so I decided to uprgrade.
I didn't even have uninstall option in package manager for tinyportla my old version, only delete. So I did that, and then manually removed everything (as instructions said) and it does look like I did removed everything, because forum is back looking like original. But then I wanted to upload beta3, it worked, but when I press aply package I get this:

Please remember to always make regular backups of your sources and database before installing mods, especially beta versions.

Installation Readme
Please un-install TinyPortal 0.6-0.9.x before installing the new TinyPortal 1.0. You will NOT loose any data, and everything will work as before. After un-installing(removing the modifications to SMF files only) you can then re-install TP v1.0 and it will pick and use the old data. Note that TP no longer need to use custom TP themes, it will use SMF themes just fine..but you WILL need to add the extra "forum" button/tab to the theme.

Install Actions
Installations actions for "TinyPortal":
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

And now I am stuck, it's not failed line so I would try to repair it, it's simple message and I don't know what to do?

The only time you would see that message is if you have upgraded your SMF to SMF v2, TP does not work with SMF2.

Romper

No way....SMF 1.1.8  :o

Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 1.1.8
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.8

Then you shoud not see that error what so ever.
Try and download the beta3 install package again and install it through your package manager.

IchBin

You can get that error if permissions on your files/folders are not right.

Chmod the package directory to 777. Create a temp directory in the packages dir and set it to 777 as well. Then try to upload and install the mod.

I'll try that, but I see that all my files are on 777 chmod, still I changed it, put it back in 777 and opened dir and also put 777 on it.

I dont know if that helps, but with my provider modding directories 777 gives me bad headaches, only 755 for directories and 644 for files.
