Site: http://australianopinion.com
TP Version: 1.0 (beta 3)
SMF Version: 1.1.8
Theme: SMF Default

Issue:

Upgraded from TP 0.9.8.3 to TP 1.0 (Beta 3) and have another small issue (I doubt) that I'd appreciate some assistance with. Simply put, when I click on 'Profile' I get the following response:

QuoteFatal error: Cannot redeclare tpsummary() (previously declared in /home/austral/public_html/Sources/TPmodules.php:2039) in /home/austral/public_html/Sources/Profile.php on line 3084

Since it refers to a TP module I wonder if this is a TP initiatd fault... or did I do something odd while I was upgrading.

If you can fix it then please attach your profile.php file and I or someone will look at it.

Edit: I meant if you can't.

Thanks for that. I've a day off today so can get to reading and hopefullly learning what's wrong :)

I'll post the file if I can't find the problem.

A hint would be to just look at the Profile.php and check what code TP adds to it, if you have updated from an earlier version, most of the code has to be removed and replaced with new.

You can check the old and the new modinstruction files we have in the doc section and see what code you need to remove, and with the new modinstruction, see what code you need to add in again.

Been having a read but I quite seriously haven't a clue what I'm supposed to be doing.

Ok - added the current profile file. There is 'another' one that is called 'profile.php~' but I've not sent that.

By the way, I *really* appreciate the assistance.

I can demonstrate that most adequately by pointing out I can't even work out how to attach the profile.php file for you to look at! :)

When you reply to a post, at the bottom, click on "Additional Options" and you will see a button to browse your computer for a file to attach.

Ok... thanks... after thinking about your reply for a minute of two, daylight dawned and I worked out what was wrong. I amended my profile to stop the the 'Quick Reply' box popping up so *now* I can see the Additional Options!  :idiot2:

Geez... I need a brain transplant.  :uglystupid2:

(Edit: ok... thanks... edited the previous post... file now attached)  :buck2:

I have editied your profile.php file. Rather than remove the functions that are causing the problem I simply commented them out.  If you look near the bottom you will see where I did this.

See after:

// Removed these entries
// Tinyportal

all the way to the */

Those functions are now taken care of in another file.
