I update the site some time back and have only now had chance to start checking it through..

Thanks

Mike.

[IchBin]

Does the error only show on the post.english.php file?

[Mikepara]

I looked further back and found one occurrence of this

8: Undefined index: name
File: /home/xxx/xxx/Themes/default/Admin.template.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 259

but mostly the errors show the post.english.php file

[IchBin]

Can you please try this and see if we can get a more specific error.

http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=290186.0

[Mikepara]

Thanks, i have carried carried out the change and the first error I received was this

8: Undefined index: tp-showlatest
File: /home/xxxx/xxxx/Themes/default/TPShout.template.php
Line: 241

I should also add that I cannot post any messages and receive an internal server error 500 when posting..not sure it is related or I'm just having a bad day!.

[Renegd98]

IchBin I found that index in the TPShout.template.php here:

Code Select Expand

echo '
<a href="' , $scripturl , '?action=tpmod;shout=show50">' . $txt['tp-showlatest'] . '</a>
<input name="tp-shout-url" type="hidden" value="'. htmlspecialchars($tp_where).'" />
<input type="hidden" name="sc" value="', $context['session_id'], '" />
</form>';

I found it around line 240. Not sure why it is showing as undefined.

The only way I can see it is causing an error is if the file TPShout.english.php is missing from the \tp-files\tp-modules\TPShout\Languages Directory because it is defined in there.

[Mikepara]

the file is were it should be according to your post..

Should I remove TPshout completly and see if any errors occur?

PS. still get Internal server error 500 when trying to post. Are the two issues related?

Thanks.

[Renegd98]

They could very well be. Posting and showing a show seem very similiar.

I would attack the Internal server error 500 first. Call your Host and ask them to check why you are getting that. I suspect it may fix them both.
