Upgrade / Compatibility Questions

My site is currently running the following:
ââ,¬Â¢ SMF 1.1RC3
ââ,¬Â¢ TP 0.9.6B

I would like to bring these up to the latest stable versions of each component (SMF 1.1.8 / TP 0.98)

My question first and foremost is TP 0.98 compatible with SMF 1.1.8?

The second question is what is the recommend upgrade path?  SMF or TP first?  And should I uninstall TP before I do the SMF update if I proceed in that order?

Yes, TP V098 will work with SMF 1.1.8

Run the upgrade of SMf first, then install TP through the package manager and everything will be back as it were.
