OK, I went in and deleted all of my categories.  I setup one new category named New Articles.  I added two basic articles and set them under the new category.

I created a new menu under the menu manager.  Type was category - Item was  New Articles.

Now when I select this category in the block menu it displays the 2 articles but I get these two errors  - one for each article.

8: Undefined variable: cexist
File: C:\DWebPro\deploy\www\allnew\Sources\TPortal.php
Line: 1480

If I remove the two articles from this category and I select a category in the block menu I get the message telling me

No articles were found in this category.

But it does not create an error in the error log.

I get the same errors on my test server with no mods.
SMF version: SMF ver. 1.1.8
TP version: TP ver. 1.0 beta 3

Went one step ferther setup a new test site all clean and freash - only installed SMF 1.1.8 and TP v1.0 beta 3

added 1 test article set up 1 category and 1 menu block to display that category when selected.

Error Messages:

8: Undefined variable: cexist
File: C:\DWebPro\deploy\www\testit\Sources\TPortal.php
Line: 1480

Is this alot of code fixing or something we could possibly fix real quick ourselves in the meantime before beta 4 arrives?

If Bloc doesn't post the fix, its usually because its not an easy fix. Multiple files etc. There will most likely be many errors while you are using a beta product, so you might want to get used to it. :)

I realize that.  Just figured I'd ask anyway
