Link to my site: http://www.nphscs.com
SMF version: 1.1.8
TP version: v.1.0.6 beta 2
Mods installed: TP Simple Shoutbox

I deleted a category that included articles, and it displayed a message: "all articles beloning to this category will NOT be deleted - they will instead end up in the Single Articles section"

My question: where is the "Single Articles section"?

Renegd98

Single articles will appear above the Categories when you select Articles and Categories in the admin panel.

Denniga

I checked, and there are no articles.  I know that I do have articles in that section because I deleted a category with articles in it, and the articles are still displaying.

Is there any way I can access these?

Renegd98

Hmmm.. if articles are not assigned to a category they should show up there. Do a test and go to an article you have in a category and unassign the category and tell us if it shows up there.

Denniga

I did this, and it does not appear in the "single article" section, but it still appears on the website.

Check it out at www.nphcs.com, the articles I used for this test say "Hola" and "Testing...".

Renegd98

ensure after selecting article and categoreis you have Articles selected.

I have that ensured.

If anyone else has my version of TP, could they try this out and see if they get the same results?  Thanks

Renegd98

Ahh,  just noticed you are using 1.0.6 Beta 2.

That version has some articles anomalies. If you upgrade to the newest version there alot of bugs fixed in the new version.

Denniga

Thanks so much for that tip.

One question: If I upgrade, do I lose all my settings?

also, which version is the latest, and yet most stable/bug-less.

Renegd98

You will not lose your settings by upgrading.

The latest is <a href="http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item1052">TinyPortal v1.0 beta 3</a>

Uninstall your latest TP version then install the new version.
