hey on one of my forums i have SMF 2.0 Beta 4

i noticed on the tinyportal test board that they are running TinyPortal v2.0 alpha so i was wondering where and when i can download this brilliant package please, im asking here because i didnt see it in the downloads section, i may have just simply overlooked it so sirry if i have

Well, we can finally tell people that TP 2 is in progress for SMF 2.. but work has really only just begun on it.

Members will be notified by a newsletter when it's ready.. but that may still be a while off yet.


When is the next version of TP coming out?

No, unfortunately not.

While I wouldn't like to put a time scale on it, we don't anyway. It would, I think, be sooner rather than later. Good progress has been made initially, but as with TP 1, which TP 2 is based almost entirely upon.. there are still bugs to be worked out.. You wouldn't see an Alpha release anyway. Beta releases are for public testing, while Alpha is in house tested by the team of testers.

I'm going to make it smaller and add some extra text. When I'm done with it, anybody who wants to, can use it in their sig.
